On August 10, at about 11:00 pm, a telephone company employee called the Kiev police department and told him that an alarm had been triggered in the basement of the house along Heroes of Labor Street. At the specified address, a policeman's outfit left. The malefactor was detained at the exit from the cellar. He managed to steal about 20 meters of electric cables, but he did not manage to leave with him - he was detained by law enforcers.
