The long-time leader of the UMMC table tennis club Alexander Shibaev entered the extended Russian team at the European Championships, which will be held in the Spanish city of Alicante from September 18 to 23. Uralets is one of the main contenders for participation in the European Championship, despite the trauma. Now Shibaev completes the recovery after the operation and will soon be in the ranks.

Also in the list of collections was Arthur Abusev, who is included in the team as a substitute.

Note that on the eve of the new competitive season in the table tennis club UMMC there were personnel changes. The team left Grigory Vlasov, who played for the Urals for eight seasons, and the Japanese Maharu Yoshimura.

The only novice of the team from Upper Pyshma at the moment is the Chinese tennis player Fan Bo, who previously played for UMMC and in 2017 became the champion of Russia in the Ural club.
