As the press service of the ministry notes, in the framework of joint operations "Border-2018" and "Migrant" only during the day in Lviv, law enforcers detained illegal migrants three times, who moved in groups.

This night, a border detachment from a mobile outpost of the Mosty detachment detained about 2 km from the border line 5 citizens of Turkey. It is worth noting that the men arrived in Ukraine in the established order, but their further trip to the EU countries was planned illegally - outside the border checkpoints.

Another 2 irregular migrants, border guards of the same detachment were found last night together with the employees of the National Police. Violators followed in the direction of the border by shuttle bus and were detained at one of the control posts. Now two citizens of Pakistan, who carried photocopies of passport documents, were delivered to the frontier service department. They have compiled protocols on h. 1 st. 203 КУоАП. Filtration measures are carried out and their transfer to the migration service unit is planned.

In addition, we recall that last night in Lviv, according to operational information of the State Border Guard employees together with the National Police, five illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and Azerbaijan were detained. Illegal migrants without documents were transported by a car our compatriot. Foreigners reported that they also planned to enter the EU countries outside the border checkpoints.
