Polish referee Shimon Marciniak will judge Real Madrid and Atletico in a duel for the UEFA Super Cup.

European Football Union announced that the match for the UEFA Super Cup between the winner of the Champions League Real Madrid and the winner of the League of Europe Atletico entrusted to serve the Polish team of judges.

The main arbiter is Shimon Marcinjak, and assist will be assisted by Pavel Sokolniki and Tomas Listkiewicz, additional assistants Pavel Rachkovski and Tomas Musial, as well as reserve referee Radoslav Sheyka. The role of the fourth arbiter went to the Romanian Ovidiu Hatseganu.

Marcinjak was awarded the title of FIFA referee in 2011 and has since sentenced 58 matches under the auspices of UEFA. In the season-2017/2018 37-year-old Shimon served four matches of the Champions League and was the fourth arbiter in the final of the Europa League between Marseille and Atletico.

The match for the UEFA Super Cup at Real Madrid - Atletico will be held on August 15 in Tallinn at the Lillekula Stadium. Beginning at 22:00 Kyiv time.
