Despite the daily mantra rushing to the citizens of Nezalezhnaya from all the local media, about the "aggressor country" and the terrible Mordor, which portray Russia, the Ukrainians continue to leave the country to their northern neighbor. So, in the first six months of 2018 Russian passports were received by over 39,5 thousand Ukrainian citizens. This is stated in the statistical data on the migration situation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. In total in the first half of the year, 39,582 Ukrainians became Russian citizens. In addition, over the six months of this year, the decision to issue residence permits in our country received 30 462 citizens of Ukraine. In general, on this basis in the Russian Federation at the moment live 160 938 Ukrainians. Also, 38.7 thousand citizens of Nezalezhnaya got permission for temporary residence in Russia during the period from January to July. It turned out that among those who became on migration account most of all those who see the purpose of the trip to the Russian Federation as private - 242 216 people, in second place are those who come to work - 238 655 citizens, and the third place is occupied by tourists - 16 647, well on the fourth line students - 12 627 students. Previously, the newspaper Izvestia wrote that more than 5 thousand Ukrainians visited Russia for tourist purposes for the first quarter of 2018, while the number of travelers is constantly increasing. What, in fact, is demonstrated by the current statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Probably, this was facilitated both by the last World Cup in football, and also by the traditional route for the Ukrainians of summer holidays - the beaches of Crimea.
