This summer at the rally "Silk Road" Sergei Karyakin and Anton Vlasyuk became champions in the category "Open" and took the fourth place among all factory teams. Back home, the drivers told about the adventures that happened to them and shared their plans for the future.

The rally-marathon lasted for athletes a week, the Ural crew overcame 700 kilometers per day. But at the very beginning of the race the team had difficulties.

According to Anton Vlasyuk, the race began with breakdowns. On the first day, the drives came out of the stand, and the crew was forced to stop, although there was very little left before the finish. But according to the rules of racing, sports crews can help each other.

"We were trying to bring to the finish three crews. Even the third team, which tried to help and hooked us, failed to bring us to the finish line from the first time. At the end of the race there were springboards and jumps, a cable designed for 60 tons, tore. KAMAZ, which dragged us, left. The situation is hopeless, we no longer hoped that someone will help us, so Sergei just told me to turn on the music. We like to listen to the song several dozen times, when it falls into the soul. This time it was "Half". It took 10 minutes and KAMAZ returned for us, "said Anton Vlasyuk.

The "Silk Marathon" became for the Ural crew a preparation for the main sports race - the rally-marathon "Dakar".

"In 2019, we will go by two crews and try to bring the team to the finish line. I hope that we will become winners of the "Dakar" not only in the ATV class, but also buggies. So far, there is not a single person in Russia who would have won the race in two classes, but I hope that we will be the first, "said Sergey Karyakin.
