A number of Russian punk bands, as well as singer Monetochka, refused to participate in the music festival "Invasion", which will be held from 3 to 5 August in the Tver region. This writes newsru. co. il.

The musicians explained this decision by the fact that the organizers of the festival violated the promise not to hold an exhibition of military equipment this year, organized annually by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

At the time of publication in the list of those who refused to perform at the festival - Monetochka, Russian punk bands Distemper, "Pornfilm", "Yorsh", and "Elysium" and the Ukrainian band "Trash Molly".

At the same time, the more venerable rock bands claimed at the festival - such as Spleen, Leningrad, Night Snipers and others, did not join the boycott.

The festival cooperates with the Defense Ministry from 2013. The Office holds there exhibitions of military equipment, military demonstrations and other events.
