The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced plans to hold a meeting of the Norman four at the level of political directors.

"Yes, we are planning such a meeting at the end of the week," said the Foreign Ministry's political director Alexei Makeev, who is quoted by NV.

According to a source in diplomatic circles in Germany, a meeting in the Norman format will be held in Berlin on Thursday, July 26.

The German Foreign Ministry has not yet confirmed the meeting of the political directors of the Norman four.

The last meeting of foreign ministers of the Normandy Four countries - France, Germany, Ukraine and Russia - was held in June 2018. It was the first since February 2017.

The Normandy Quartet, or the Norman format, is a diplomatic group of high-ranking representatives of four countries (Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia). Its goal is to stabilize the situation in the Donbass and implement the Minsk Agreements. The meetings are held both at the level of the Foreign Ministry and at the level of heads of state.
