Above the large-scale rebranding of the channel, the design department team. The update of the picture was initiated by Olga Balaban - the director of PR and promo department and Alexander Antonov - the main designer of the New Channel.

"Before us was set a grandiose task in its scale - to show that our channel is modern, relevant for an active, advanced audience," says Alexander Antonov. - On such global projects in the European market are allocated huge budgets and even more huge terms. And work on them at least 20-25 people. In our case, people were five times less, and terms - minimal. But we did it! It took about five months to come to a common solution, that everyone liked everything. Considered a huge number of different concepts, but we always did not like something ... We remade and remade everything from scratch. At some point, the guys were already in despair, for every few days I offered new adjustments, and these little adjustments dragged big changes in the rest of the schedule. But, as time showed, they were very necessary! »Graphics for 3 million Designers developed and implemented a new identity, logo, updated the design of the site and even created their own font - new channel font. The graphics will be used to design the broadcast, the site, the social networks of the channel, the documentation and press cards of the staff. That you understand, the channels-competitors pay for such a large-scale re-branding to steep advertising agencies about 3 million hryvnia!.

"From the time the concept was developed to the presentation of the final versions, it took about five months," says the designer of the New Channel Vladimir Pepelev. - From the previous graphics, we did not have anything left. Everything will change: ethereal dies, pekshoty, presots, logo. The central element in the chart will be the circle. He will be the main figure in any animation. The rectangular timer, which was shown in the left corner of the screen, we also replaced. Now time will be counted on the logo. At the right moment, the logo will become a dial and gradually, in a clockwise direction, be painted in a different color. We tried to ensure that there were no elements on the screen that would be knocked out of our concept ".

"According to the idea of ??Alexander Antonov, we took for the basis of the logo an element that is used by almost all messengers - a matchbox," says the designer of the New Channel Lilia Sabitova. - But at the same time the task was to leave the logo recognizable letter "H" in a circle. The final version was claimed for a very long time. Antonov drew sketches, I embodied them in a graphic version.

"The color of the logo will vary depending on the age of the audience for which the television product is intended," explains Vladimir Pepelov. - Most of the time on the air it will be translucent white. And when you start a movie or show, turn green, yellow and red. Green - for the younger age group, yellow - for the middle and red - for the older. In the same colors, all the graphics of our projects will be executed. For example, "Zabobitchani" is a green color, "Vid patsanka panyanka" - yellow, and films for the audience 18+ - red ".

Own font of the channel - New Channel Font Under the updated stylish design the same fresh and laconic font is necessary. After long hours of searching on the Internet, designers decided that it's easier to create your own font, suitable for all parameters. Recently, the company AirBNB boasted that the creation of the font they took a year. The new canals for the whole process were no more than four weeks.

"I first developed a font," says Lilia Sabitova. - Very laborious process. We chose some of the fondest fonts that we used as a basis, and we developed our own version. I had to draw both Latin and Cyrillic in several variants: regular, medium, bold, extra bold. In the font to draw letters - this is half way, and then there is work with symbols and letter spacing. Only in the Russian layout more than 1000 combinations of pairs of letters. The same number in Ukrainian and English. At the same time, when I claimed the letters with Antonov, he always liked the options that I did not like. We joked with the guys that I could make a director's version of the font from letters that did not pass the statement, and sell it (laughs). Use a new font can be after the anniversary of the New Channel - July 15. Also we plan to lay out our font in universal access so that everyone could use it ".
