Ukrainian track and field athletes Mikhail Kokhan and Mikhail Gavrilyuk became silver and bronze medalists in hammer throwing at the World Junior Championships in Tampere, Finland.
And Kokhan sent the hammer to victory 79.68 m in the fifth attempt. Gavrilyuk won the bronze medal in the final sixth attempt at 77.71 m. For both athletes these results became personal records.
World champion U20 was Briton Jake Norris (80.65 m).
