Chelsea and Vitesse agreed on the lease for the season goalkeeper Eduardo Carvalho.

The 35-year-old Portuguese, who previously played for Braga, Beira-Mar, Vitoria from Setubal, Benfica, Istanbul BB and Dynamo from Zagreb, for two seasons at Stamford Bridge did not play for Chelsea a single match.

After the end of the season-2017/2018, the management of Chelsea decided to part with Eduard, but then extended the contract for another season and leased it.

Eduardo became the 26th player sent from Chelsea to Vitesse since the two clubs signed a cooperation agreement.
