The Carpathians signed a contract with 23-year-old defender Alexei Kovtun. This is the official website of Lvivans.

Details of the agreement between the player and the club have not yet been disclosed.

Kovtun pupil Dynamo, played for the youth teams of Kiev, then became a player Kharkov Metalist. In 2015, he made his debut in the Premier League in a match with Dynamo Kiev. In the summer of 2015 he moved to Poltava FC where he played until 2017. The last club of the defender was FC Minsk.

It should be noted that Kovtun was summoned to the Ukrainian team U-20.
