Players of the Colombian national team received death threats in social networks after losing to the 1/8 finals of the World Cup.

Colombians in the series of post-match penalties lost to the England team (1: 1 (3: 4)).

Threats were written to footballers who did not realize a penalty - Carlos Bacca and Mateus Uribe, writes Daily Mail.

Uribe struck the crossbar, and Bucky's kick was parried by England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

In Colombia, such threats are used to take seriously. After football player Andres Escobar was killed for an own goal in the 1994 World Cup against the US team (1: 2), which led to the departure of Colombians.
