Yesterday, on June 25, a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine led by the first deputy minister Sergei Yarov visited the joint training base of the forces "Los Alamitos", which is part of the National Guard of California and provides overall coordination of forces and facilities in the event of an emergency.

Sergei Yarovoy held a meeting with General Mark Malanka, commander of the base "Los Alamitos". The parties drew attention to the deepening of bilateral cooperation.

The Ukrainian side had an opportunity to get acquainted with the unit responsible for safety in the event of a chemical, biological and radiation emergency.

The peculiarity of this base is that children here study. From the 5th grade, students study technical sciences - mathematics, chemistry, physics, the basics of engineering. And there is also a program for educating children from low-income families who can not attend school.
