Midfielder of the Czechoslovak national team Antonin Panenka on June 20 gave his team a victory in the final of Euro-76.

Panenka in a series of penalty shoot-outs performed a penalty, which later became legendary. The midfielder hit the center with a parachute, cheating goalkeeper Sepp Mayer, who jumped to the left.
