Two US F-35 fighters will be delivered to Turkey on June 21. This television channel NTV was told by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. The first two aircraft will officially be handed over to Turkey in Fort Worth, Texas. Manufacturer F-35 Lockheed Martin Corporation has confirmed the information on deliveries. Turkish side plans to purchase 100 new generation fighter-bombers in the US. The US Congress has previously passed a bill on the military budget for the fiscal year 2019, which provides for the blocking of Turkey's F-35 supplies because of Ankara's plans to purchase Russian S-400 systems. However, Cavusoglu said earlier that, regardless of the US pressure, Turkey will buy the S-400, and this issue is closed. As a result, Ankara managed to strengthen its army with both Russian and American equipment.
