Defender Lucas Hernandez can compete for "mattress" until 2024.

The official website of Atletico announced the extension of the contract with the defender Lucas Hernandez.

The new agreement of the Frenchman is calculated till 2024. Previous valid until 2022.

Lucas is only 22 years old, but he has already held 88 official matches for Atletico, in whose system he has been since 2007.

This season, Hernandez played in 44 official matches for "mattress".

Lucas made his debut in the French national team only on March 23 in a game against Colombia (2: 3), but this did not stop him from going to the 2018 World Cup.

Also Atletico extended his contract with Antoine Grismann.
