Countries G7 at the summit in Canada decided to develop a new system of protection against propaganda, reports Deutsche Welle.

The rapid reaction mechanism should allow a quick response to manipulation of elections, propaganda and attempts at destabilization, coming from "countries such as Russia".

Such a system can help G7 countries analyze information about information technology and exchange it with each other. In the ideal case, this should lead to a more coordinated reaction of all countries in the form of a response campaign or sanctions.

On April 25 of this year the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution in which it approved the opposition to Russian propaganda at the level of the European Union.
