The Cabinet of Ministers approached the independent supervisory board of Naftogaz of Ukraine with a request to clarify the calculation of premiums to the company's top managers, Vladimir Groisman said today in the session hall of the parliament within an hour of questions to the Cabinet.

"Naftogaz is managed by an independent nabsovet, and this is not the competence of the government (awarding employees to the enterprise). I, too, was concerned about this decision (about the appointment of multi-million premiums). Therefore, I sent an official letter to the independent Supervisory Board to review their decision and inform the Cabinet. I await an answer to this question. At the same time, the premier added: "Although we must admit that the Naftogaz of Ukraine and its management got a serious victory over Gazprom in the interests of the country in the amount of 4.5 billion US dollars".

Earlier it became known that in Naftogaz it was decided to pay in the form of a premium of 1% of the won amount in the Stockholm Arbitration, which is about $ 45 million.
