By firing at night from the mortars the strong point of the Ukrainian troops at Stanitsa Luganskaya, the militants, under cover of automatic fire, tried to seize the position of the APU. Their plans were foiled by paramedic Chezar Nikiforesku, who was on the observation post and, taking the place of the machine gunner, opened the target fire. This episode of the war was reported by the headquarters of the operation of the united forces.

Simultaneously with frontal shelling of the "opornik", the saboteurs started firing at the position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the flank, attempting to seize it.

"Ensign Nikiforesku instantly suffered the fire of the DShK towards the DRG, forcing her to retreat," the headquarters.

According to the intelligence service, during the battle the paramedic destroyed the firing point of Russian-terrorist troops and several militants, thus preventing the breakthrough of the defense line of the environmental protection forces near Lugansk.
