NATO will create a 30-thousand-dollar reserve to quickly reflect the likely attack of Russia. The connection must be put on alert for 30 days, according to the German edition of Die Welt, citing a number of sources in the Alliance.

The reserve will have at its disposal several hundred fighter jets and ships. It will complement the already existing forces of NATO Response Force, which number about 20 thousand soldiers.

The creation of the reserve will be discussed in detail by NATO defense ministers at a meeting in Brussels on June 7-8, and in mid-July Alliance leaders must adopt a political declaration.

It is noted that the key role in the new connection will be allocated to Germany. "We need to move a large number of soldiers and equipment as quickly as possible in order to confidently prevent the invasion," the NATO diplomat explained, noting that the initiator of the reserve is the United States.
