Law enforcement officers in the Donetsk region detained a pedophile, on account of which 37 different crimes.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region.

So, during the investigation it became known that a resident of Slavyansk committed sexual crimes against children for 13 years, 14 victims were identified, among them young children.

"In his private home, a previously convicted attacker created a place of debauchery, where he corrupted and raped children under threat of reprisal, using their helpless condition. The victims of the suspect were teenagers mainly from families who found themselves in difficult life circumstances. Frightened children did not tell their relatives, "reads the message.

It is noted that the abuser forced children to take part in filming pornographic videos. He distributed the products on the Internet through the "coded" file exchange network created by him.

Relatively 54-year-old man opened a number of criminal proceedings.

In particular, the operatives gathered evidence of his involvement in 23 facts of sexual violence against minors committed during the period 2001-2014. Of these, three facts - committed in relation to young children (under 14 years).

Intruder reportedly suspected of h. 1, 2 st. 156 "Corruption of minors", h. 3 items. 302 "Creation or maintenance of places of debauchery with the involvement of minors", h. 2, 3 st. 153 "Forced satisfaction of sexual passion in an unnatural way", h. 1 st. 304 "Involving minors in criminal activities" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Now the suspect is under arrest in the pre-trial detention center. The pre-trial investigation continues.
