Duchess of Sussex Megan Markle received her own coat of arms a few days after the wedding with Prince Harry.

This was announced on Friday Kensington Palace.

The coat of arms depicts golden poppies from California - the native state of Megan, as well as a hennon who grows in her new residence, Kensington Palace.

The blue background of the shield on the emblem symbolizes the Pacific Ocean off the California coast, and the two golden rays on the shield are sunrise in California. Three feathers mean communication and the power of words.

Figures on both sides of the shield, known as supporters, are a songbird and a golden lion with a crown. In this case, the lion is depicted on the coat of arms of the husband Megan - Prince Harry. A songbird symbolizes the very duchess.

The coat of arms was designed by the Heraldic Chamber of Great Britain and approved by the Queen Elizabeth of England. It is noted that the Duchess closely cooperated with the Chamber to design the coat of arms as "personal and representative".

Recall, the newly-made wife of Prince Harry Megan, who after the wedding received the status of the Duchess of Sussex, should be trained to meet this status. This decision was made by Queen Elizabeth II herself. To better prepare the wife of his grandson Prince Harry in "royal" duties, the Queen put her former adviser to the former American actress - 49-year-old Samantha Cohen.
