Russian media comment on the investigation into the death of the Malaysian "Boeing". In particular, the Vedomosti newspaper writes that the charges of the international investigation are becoming more detailed, and Russia is not ready for such an investigation. Malaysian liner Boeing 777 was shot down on July 17, 2014 over the southeast of Ukraine, and almost immediately appeared a version of involvement in the disaster of the Russian Federation. The more information the international investigation discovers, the fewer chances that Russia will be able to convince the West of its non-involvement in a plane crash in which 298 people died, this leads to a new round of Russia's conflict with the rest of the world, new sanctions and the growth of isolationist sentiments in the country. edition. Yesterday, the International Investigation Group (JIT), operating in the Netherlands under the agreement of five states whose citizens died in a catastrophe, officially stated that the Buk, which came from Russia to Ukraine, from which the passenger liner was shot down, belongs to the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade Air Defense of Russia, based under Kursk. The investigation has photo and video evidence, the names of people who are directly related to launching the rocket. The JIT investigation is not over yet: next interim results were presented on Thursday. JIT declared Russia's involvement in the disaster in the fall of 2016. The same conclusions were reached earlier and conducted by an unofficial investigation group Bellingcat, which also traced the way of installation from the Ukrainian Snow to Kursk. The Ministry of Defense of Russia called the JIT statements a repetition of the "insinuations" of the Ukrainian special services and "feykogeneratorov" from Bellingcat and stated that the Russian "Buki" did not cross the state border. According to the Russian side, the airliner was shot down from the "Buka" belonging to the Ukrainian air defense system. Russia did not agree to the creation of an international tribunal, the case of a catastrophe will be considered by a Dutch court. And the judges will probably demand the participation of witnesses and suspects from Russia in court hearings, Kirill Koroteyev, a lawyer with Memorial, believes. In his opinion, Moscow will refuse to participate, referring to Article 61 of the Constitution. And this will heighten suspicions against Russia and increase the likelihood of recognition of involvement in the killing of civilians. According to the authors of the publication, such a strategy will lead to aggravation of relations with the rest of the world, including with Malaysia, related to Russia a number of arms contracts. "Moscow's refusal to facilitate the investigation of the disaster can be used for a new round of anti-Russian campaign, which, as shown by the expulsion of Russian diplomats from the UK because of the case of Skripal, can start even before the verdict of the court," - writes the publication. The JIT data can give grounds for strengthening the former and introducing new sanctions, believes the chairman of the Russian Council for International Affairs Andrei Kortunov. In turn, the Russian authorities will be able to use the process of downed "Boeing" for domestic political purposes, speaking of the bias of the investigation, putting forward "alternative facts" and forcing anti-Western hysteria.
