Hoffenheim signed a five-year contract with ex-midfielder Cologne Leonardo Bittenkurtt.

Hoffenheim, who finished third in the Bundesliga and won the right to play in the Champions League in the 2018/2019 season, was strengthened by Cologne midfielder Leonardo Bittencourt, with whom he signed a contract until the summer of 2023.

Leo went to Hoffenheim for free, because in his contract with Cologne was an option, according to which the footballer received the status of a free agent in case of a drop in "goats" in the class. At the end of the German championship, Cologne took the last place.

This season, Bittenkurth held for Cologne 28 matches in all tournaments and scored 6 goals.
