Football. ua talks about the readiness of the NSC Olympic to the Champions League final less than two weeks before the decisive match.

September 15, 2016 for all of Ukraine and local football there was a truly historic event - our country got the right to host the Champions League final of the season 2017/2018. Even then, the stadium leaders began to develop a plan, according to which the NSC Olympic was to be fully prepared for the decisive match.

And so, 12 days before the finals, the media representatives had the opportunity to personally observe the state of Ukraine's main arena and at what stage the process of preparation is currently underway.

The first impression of going to the stands of the stadium is, as such, the absence of a reminder of the future event. If not for the banners that you can see in the picture below, then you would not have no chance to guess what the workers are preparing the stadium for.

And the work is really underway. And it seems that before they are completed is still far away. The main procedures are carried out in the central podium and in the corner flag area. In the center most affected press box. In order to increase the number of places for journalists, it was decided to dismantle the seats and install new ones.

And this is how the press places were distributed. We can safely assume that representatives of the mass media will be more than 5000.

As for the works on the south-western tribune, due to the reduction in the number of seats, special places will be equipped to accommodate numerous cameras, as well as studios for various broadcasters. Already it is clear that the finals will be watched by a significantly fewer than 70 000 fans, although initially the Olympic could hold almost 70 100.

For the sake of providing quality images and live broadcasts, we had to make sacrifices and this is not surprising. The situation demanded this, because the official Broadcasters of the Champions League final were 19 different TV companies, and 97 teams of journalists from different countries will cover the decisive game.

I managed to visit one of the dressing rooms. While it is not known exactly which of the finalists will be placed in it, but it belongs to Kiev Dynamo. The dressing room is absolutely standard and there is nothing fundamentally different in it. Dressing places, massage chairs, tactical and magnetic boards, TV, toilet, shower - everything is for your convenience.

Also our attention was attracted by the whirlpool bath, which is on the way to the common shower room. Immediately in the head pops up a picture where in this very place with bottles of champagne splashing happy Ronaldo, Marcelo and Ramos. Or is it Salah, Manet and Firmino?.

Still there was a hope to get to the mixt-zone, but the desire disappeared instantly. The further we went deeper into the corridors, the more we wanted to return. Inside the stadium there is still a lot of work, and this can be seen with the naked eye.

Until the final match there are only 12 days, but there is absolute certainty that by May 26 the workers will be able to do everything in their power and the stadium will be 100% ready to accept teams, tens of thousands of fans, journalists and VIP guests.
