Kharkiv region statistics: on tobacco production, 2/3 employees work in hazardous conditions

According to the data of the Main Directorate of Statistics in the Kharkov region, the number of full-time employees of the Kharkiv region as of December 31, 2017 was 239.2 thousand. people. Employed in jobs with hazardous working conditions was 57.4 thousand. people, or 24%, of which 11.7 thousand. women.

A high proportion of workers working in harmful conditions was observed at tobacco manufacturing enterprises (66.6% of the number of full-time employees), cement production (60.7%) and hollow glass production (57.3%).

The most common among the harmful factors of the working environment were: labor intensity (12.4% of the number of full-time employees), exceeding the maximum permissible noise levels, ultrasound, infrasound (12%) and labor severity (8.6%).

The number of employees who have at least one of the types of benefits and compensation installed in 2017 was 68,0 thousand. (28.4% of the number of full-time employees), of which: surcharges for working conditions (18.2%), additional leaves according to the Schedule approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (15.7%), free milk or other equivalent food products (6.1%), reduced working week in accordance with the list approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (0.8%) and additional leave stipulated in the collective agreement (agreement) (0.5%).
