Thus, he does not shine to attend the World Cup matches, which starts on June 14, 2018. This is reported today by the German broadcaster ARD, for which, in fact, he did his exposing documentary films. As noted in the publication, their sports expert Zeppelt is on the Russian list of "undesirable persons", in connection with which the journalist was not allowed to come to Russia. The TV channel said formidably that such a decision is an unprecedented violation of Moscow's press freedom. Zeppelt was supported by the German Association of Journalists, who sharply criticized the non-admission of a colleague at the 2018 World Cup. "Given the fact that he published cases of doping in Russia, we can assume that it's about revenge," - says the chairman of the organization Frank Juberall. In April, Zeppel predicted new sanctions against Russian athletes. According to him, we are talking about 9 thousand positive doping tests in 4,5 thousand athletes. And now on Friday it became known about the disqualification for different terms of four athletics: Elena Slesarenko, Ekaterina Volkova, Ksenia Agafonova and Elizaveta Grechishnikova. And for violations of ten years ago.
