St. George's tapes in Ukraine are again in motion thanks to the ingenuity of the Verkhovna Rada deputy Nestor Shufrych, who managed to circumvent the current Ukrainian law on its prohibition. Thus, he expressed his protest and showed Ukrainians a way to circumvent the anti-Soviet law of the Kiev authorities. On how exactly he managed to express his protest, the deputy told on the air of NEWSONE. According to him, Ukrainians should not abandon the symbols of victory, one of which is the St. George's ribbon. In order not to violate the law, the deputy dressed up a bouquet of carnations entrusted to them at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with separate black and orange ribbons. "That is, I respected the law against which I categorically spoke, but no one will forbid me to tie a bouquet of flowers with St. George ribbon," said the deputy. Recall that on June 15, 2017 in Ukraine came into effect the law "On the Prohibition of Manufacture and Propaganda" of St. George's ribbon. For his violation, he faces a fine or administrative arrest, RIA FAN.
