Suspected of attacking Dmitry Ivashchenko (Verbich), Ekaterina Lapinskaya was taken into custody until June 5.

The decision was made on May 8 by the Podolsky District Court of Kiev, the prosecutor's office of Kiev.

It is noted that the prosecutor's applications are partially satisfied.

During the meeting, it became known about the identity of the suspect in the attack on the veteran ATO. Lapinskaya is an invalid of the first group, and she is also married to a Russian citizen.

The prosecutor objected that the law enforcement officers managed to detain all the suspects in the attack on Verbich. In addition to Lapinskaya, another man (a Russian) was also informed about the suspicion of committing a crime,.

In the evening of May 2 in Kiev a group of unknown people attacked a veteran of the ATU, defender of Donetsk airport Dmitry Verbich. He walked along the street and felt a blow in the back. Turning around, he saw three guys and two girls in masks. Attackers attacked him, as a result of which he received a stab wound in the back.

The police qualified the attack on the article on hooliganism (h. 4 items. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The media reported that on May 6 in Kharkov law enforcers detained suspects in the attack on Verbich. In addition, the head of the Security Service Vasily Gritsak promised that Ukraine will apply to Russia for extradition of the defendants of the case of an attack on the "cyborg" Verbich.
