The ex-coach of the "Manchester United" Sir Alex Ferguson had a cerebral hemorrhage.

As reported by Sky Sports with reference to the press service of the mankunians, he successfully underwent surgery, but he needs a period of intensive therapy.

According to Ferguson's friends, he complained of health on Thursday, and on the morning of Friday an ambulance took him to the hospital.

The son of Sir Alex, Darren Ferguson, who heads Doncaster Rovers from England's third division, missed his team's last match to go to his father.

Recall, 76-year-old Ferguson resigned as head coach of Manchester United in 2013 after 26 years of work.
