The future champion of Ukraine lost the chance to be in the top basket during the draw of the group stage of the next season of the Champions League.

According to the current rules, the first basket for the draw of the Champions League group is formed from the champions of 7 national associations, leading in the UEFA coefficient table, as well as the current champion of the tournament.

In the event that the current champion is also a champion in his country, then the representative of the 8th association gets to the first basket - that is, at the moment of Ukraine.

Among all participants of the semi-finals, only Bayern was the champion of his country, therefore if the Munichers won the Champions League, the Ukrainian club would be in the first basket at the future draw.

As a result, Bayern flew out of the tournament, unable to defeat Real Madrid, and with it lost the chances of the future winner of the Ukrainian championship to get to the top basket.

The seat in the first basket was already guaranteed to Bavaria, Barcelona, ??Manchester City and PSG. Also, most likely, the company they will be leading in their leagues Juventus, Locomotive and Porto. The last member of the top basket will be the winner of the final pair of Real Madrid - Liverpool.
