A study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology has shown that not all plant diets are equally useful for reducing the risk of heart disease. Some diets have the opposite effect - increase the likelihood of heart disease.

Vegetarian diets are defined as "vegetarian", they can contain a small amount of animal products, for example, eggs or butter. The main vegetable diets are three: a completely vegetative diet with whole grains, a diet with a small amount of animal food, and a diet that consumes refined foods and ground cereals.

The study of the large-scale study, which involved more than 43,000 men and more than 92,000 women, showed that approximately 8,000 people developed coronary heart disease during the experiment. The more in the diet was whole grains, vegetables and fruits, the lower the risk of cancer, stroke, coronary artery disease and coronary heart disease.

Subjects who adhered to a vegetarian diet, but consumed refined foods, sweetened drinks, potatoes and sweets, were more likely to suffer from heart and vascular disease. Thus, their diet had the opposite effect.
