Consideration of the case of an accident in court was held in a reduced procedure, the press service of the Kharkov Regional Prosecutor's Office. At the last meeting, a debate took place.

The prosecutor asked the court to appoint Yengibaryan punishment in the form of five years imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for three years.

By h. 2 items. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic rules) Yengibaryan maximum threatened 8 years in prison. However, the prosecution took into account that he pleaded guilty, assisted the investigation, and the victims received compensation and waived claims.

Car Toyota Camry under the control of 18-year-old Tigran Yengibaryan shot down a 17-year-old pedestrian on January 16 on Saltovskoe highway. The driver disappeared from the scene of the accident and was soon detained. The police opened the proceedings in two articles - violation of road safety rules, which resulted in death, and leaving the victim without assistance (h. 2 items. 286 h. 1 st. 135 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In March, the case was transferred to the Moscow District Court. In court, the defense and the victims demanded that the case be heard without cameras.
