Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo can sign a new contract with the club on improved terms before the start of the mundial.

Real Madrid management decided to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a contract on improved terms, reports AS.

The term of the agreement will remain the same - until June 2021, but the Portuguese's salary will grow from 21 million euros (after tax) to 30. Another two million will be registered as bonuses.

The publication claims that the parties intend to sign a new treaty before the start of the 2018 World Cup.

Ronaldo badly spent the first part of the season, but gave the best in his career the beginning of the year in 2018. At the moment, Cristiano has scored 12 matches in a row. Total on the account of the 33-year-old Portuguese 42 goals in 39 games in all tournaments.

"Creamy" lost the chances of winning the championship in Spain and long ago flew from the Cup of the King, but continue to fight in the Champions League. In the semifinals, they will meet with Bayern Munich.
