The United States, Great Britain and France presented to the UN Security Council their draft resolution on Syria. The leaders of the three countries call for the unhindered supply of humanitarian aid, as well as to cease fire. In addition, from Damascus they demand active participation in peace negotiations under the leadership of the United Nations. One of the diplomats stressed that the purpose of the resolution is to show that the attacks are a necessity and are part of Washington's political strategy. At the same time, the coalition did not believe the OPCW data on the lack of chemical weapons in Damascus and demanded a new investigation with the participation of independent experts, reports Liberation. The representative of the US State Department, Heather Nauerth, called the main condition for a return to the political process. "If they do this (declare chemical weapons that have not been destroyed), we will assist in returning to the Geneva negotiation process," she said on Fox News. Previously, the UN Security Council rejected the Russian draft resolution condemning "aggression against Syria by the United States and its allies," since the document did not gain a majority. America, Britain and France attacked Syrian government facilities on April 14, allegedly used to produce chemical weapons. They fired more than 100 missiles, but 71 shot down anti-aircraft missiles.
