Young striker Arsenal Chuba Akpom admitted that midfielder Jack Wilshere is his idol.

At the moment, a 22-year-old graduate of the Arsenal Academy is rented at the Belgian club Saint-Truiden.

According to Akpom, while he was playing in the youth team of the Gunners, his example for imitation was midfielder Jack Wilshere.

"For me, Wilshire is the best English football player in history".

"He made his way from the Academy of Arsenal to the main team and performs in the Premier League. He became my idol ".

"Jack has a natural talent, he is very elegant with the ball," said Akpom.
