Croatian specialist Nico Kovacs will lead the Munich team in the summer.

At the end of this season, the 72-year-old Heynckes, whom Bayern has returned from a well-deserved pension last fall, will leave the camp of the Munichers.

According to Bild and Sport Bild, the bosses of the club have already decided on the successor of Jupp. According to the publications, it will be the 46-year-old Croatian mentor Niko Kovacs.

Kovacs played for Bayern as a player from 2001 to 2003. With regard to his coaching career, he headed the national team of Croatia from 2013 to 2015, and from 2016 to this time working with Eintracht.

Previously, Nico himself stated that he would not leave Eintracht in the near future, but it seems that the situation has changed.
