South Korea won the right to host the Winter Olympic Games - 2018 by corruption. According to the publication, the unclean members of the IOC Seoul was pointed out by Papa Massata, the son of the ex-head of the International Federation of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Lamina Diaka. Note that the father and son of Diaka have already been accused of corruption in the victory of Rio de Janeiro as the organizer of the OI-2016. According to media reports, the funds went through Samsung - they say, Lee Myung-bak promised the head of the corporation Lee Gonkhi that he would "otmazhet" him if the embezzlement reveals itself. The company itself, however, has already denied the allegations: "The company legally sponsored the IOC, just like in the case of other sponsorship agreements," - her agency "Renhap" cites her statement,. The XXIII Winter Olympic Games were held in South Korean Pyeongchang from 9 to 25 February 2018. Ex-President of South Korea Lee Myung-bak, who led the Republic of Korea in 2008-2013, is currently being tried on charges of corruption and misappropriation of state funds.
