Chelsea defender Cesar Aspilicueta is confident that even a possible victory in the FA Cup will not brighten up the bad season of the "blue".

Chelsea is 10 points behind the fourth coming of Tottenham for 6 games before the end of the championship. "Blue" won only three of the 11 Premier League matches this year.

The only trophy that Chelsea can still win this season is the FA Cup.

"The FA Cup is a very important trophy with a rich history, but this is not enough for Chelsea," said Aspilicueta.

"We will try to win, but the victory in the Cup will not save our season".

Semi-final of the FA Cup against Southampton Chelsea will play on April 22.
