Zenit's mentor Roberto Mancini is the main contender for the post-allenator of the Italian national team.

The publication claims that Roberto is a favorite in the fight for the post of head coach of the Italian national team, which at the moment is temporarily headed by Luigi Di Biagio.

It is expected that next Sunday Mancini will go to Rome, where he will hold a meeting and discuss his future at the helm of the "scuadra of the Adzurra".

Previously, the Italian Football Federation intended to appoint Carlo Ancelotti to this post, but the ex-coach of Bavaria is only interested in working with club teams.
