The central defender of Barcelona Samuel Umtiti does not agree to renew the contract on the conditions of the club.

The current contract of Umtiti with "blue-pomegranate" is calculated until the summer of 2021.

Nevertheless, the management of Barcelona wants now to extend the contract with the player, because he is afraid that any club will activate the item in his contract, according to which the Frenchman can go for 60 million euros.

Newspaper Sport reports that Samuel does not agree to renew the contract, as he is not satisfied with wages. The source claims that the defender requires the club the same salary as the leaders of the team Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta.

Otherwise, Umtiti is ready to leave Barcelona and change the championship.
