The amount of financial assistance to Ukraine in the 2018 financial year is increased compared to last year. In particular, the cost of Ukrainian defense increased by 50 million dollars - up to 200 million dollars, according to the website of financial news of Ukraine and the world Elcomart. ua.

The funds will be used for the training of servicemen, provision of military equipment and equipment, lethal defensive weapons, other military equipment and services, logistic support, intelligence support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the allocated funds will be used to train military doctors and enhance the combat capability of air and naval forces. Also for the first time at the legislative level, it is proposed to provide Ukraine with such defensive means: radar air defense and surface surveillance, naval mine action vehicles, ships of coastal action and coast guard.

The estimate of aid to Ukraine through the US State Department and related agencies is estimated at $ 420.700 million, which is $ 10 million higher than the corresponding expenditure for 2017.

Increased funding is aimed at strengthening Ukraine's support for security under the "International Military Financing" program.
