Next week Zaporizhzhya will be the first to open a new season of school football.

In Zaporozhye from 26 to 30 March, there will be seminars on the social project of the Football Federation of Ukraine "Open lessons in football", which is carried out with the support of the European Union. This was announced to Ukrainian News by the first vice-president of FFU Vadim Kostyuchenko.

According to him, within five days, training will be provided for volunteers of the project in nine regions of Ukraine: Donetsk, Lugansk, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Mykolayiv, Odessa and Kiev regions.

"This year about 7 thousand children and more than 500 volunteers will take part in the festival. The participants of the project will receive more than 2 thousand footballs, more than 500 textbooks, as well as more than 500 sports suits for teachers. Each child will receive a branded T-shirt, and various football equipment (cones, chips, shirtballs, ball nets, hoops, ropes) will be handed over to the participating schools of the project, "B. As the first vice-president of FFU noted, the development of mass football is one of the priorities of the national association within the framework of "Strategy-2030". Festivals "Open football lessons" - this is the basis for the development of mass football in Ukraine.
