Youthful team of Ukraine (U-16) went to friendly matches in Georgia

The national team of Ukraine (football players not older than 2002) will play two friendly matches with peers from Georgia.

The youth team of Ukraine under the leadership of Vladimir Yezersky, consisting of twenty players who are not older than 2002, will hold two friendly matches with peers from Georgia on March 22 and 24.

Goalkeepers: Alex Slutsky (Dynamo), Nikita Turbaevsky (Shakhtar).

Defenders: Ilya Zabarny, Konstantin Ovcharenko, Daniel Skorko, Denis Kuzyk (all - Dynamo), Daniel Egbudzhuo, Anthony Emery (both are Shakhtar).

Midfielders: Egor Glushach, Vladimir Brazhko, Nikita Isadchenko, Igor Guk (all - Dynamo), Georgy Sudakov, Vladislav Kobyliansky, Bogdan Viunnik (all - Shakhtar), Valentin Rubchinsky (Dnepr).

Forwards: Leon Gladkovsky, Vladislav Vanat (both - Dynamo), Danilo Goncharuk, Nikita Kulalaev (both are Shakhtar).

In the autumn of this year, Yezersky's wards will play in the qualifying tournament of Euro-2019, which will meet in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the hosts (October 10), Iceland (October 13) and Gibraltar (October 16).

In the elite round of the qualifying tournament there will be two best teams from each of the 13 groups and four top teams in tournament performance with top pair. Matches of the elite round will be held in March 2019, and the final tournament of Euro-2019 will be held in May 2019 in Ireland.
