Because of the decision to boycott the Russian World Cup in Tyumen, Ukrainian biathletes may lose quotas for the next season.

The men's team of Ukraine in biathlon dropped to the 9th place in the Nations Cup after the relay in Holmenkollen, where our four finished in the 12th position.

And the Czech national team, which finished 10th, outpaced the Ukrainians by 8 points. This means that because of the boycott of the stage in Tyumen team more points this season will not gain and will not change the situation.

So, Ukrainians are likely to lose a quota of 5 people for the next season, because they risk missing out on the Slovenes and the Swiss, who will perform at the final stage in Tyumen.

Let's note, last season our men's team took 6th place in the Nations Cup and got a quota for five people.

We add that the women's team also almost lost the chance to stay in the Top 5 of the Nations Cup standings, because she lost to the Norwegian team, who finished fourth in the relay race.

Recall, our team refused to go to the final stage of the World Cup, which will be held in Russia.
