Initially, the coaching staff of the national team of Ukraine assumed that the forthcoming gathering will have time to recover midfielder Dortmund Borussia Andrey Yarmolenko.

When it became known that the team can not count on Yarmolenko, it was decided to replace him with another player.

According to the official website of the FFU, Shakhtar's midfielder Ivan Petryak was called to the national team.

On March 23, the Ukrainian team will hold the first friendly match against Saudi Arabia.
