The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Sverdlovsk Region is developing methodological recommendations for the development of an environmental voluntary movement in specially protected natural areas, the Governor's Information Policy Department.

In the Year of the Volunteer Announced by Vladimir Putin, the authorities plan to involve Sverdlovsk volunteers to conduct explanatory conversations in the fire-dangerous period, to take courses of guides and participate in charitable excursions, to participate in various mass events aimed at forming a careful attitude to nature.

"Every year we attract the public to planting forests, cleaning in parks, arranging springs. In these events, which are held under the patronage of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev, tens of thousands of volunteers. This year the list of directions of interaction with the public will be substantially expanded. Moreover, we urge residents of the Sverdlovsk region to share their ideas on new forms of cooperation aimed at developing specially protected natural areas, "said Minister Alexei Kuznetsov.
