Ukrainian biathlete Yulia Zhuravok won a silver medal in the individual IBU Cup race in Uvat (Russia).

Ukrainka distinguished herself by pure shooting, however she lost to Russian Irina Service.

For Zhouravok this result was the best in his career. This is the fourth podium at the IBU Cup stages for the athlete this season, and the second personal - previously she finished third in the sprint at the stage in Lenzerheide.

Among other Ukrainian women, Olga Abramova finished the 13th race, Jan Bondar - 28th, and Nadezhda Belkina became the 35th.
