The price of victory at the Paralympic Games is measured not in the money paid by the state. No prize can be compared with the self-realization of a person who has limited opportunities in everyday life, the TSN. 19:30.

"They said: oh, and what you will achieve, you can not do anything, you are disabled", - says Igor Tsvetov. At age 13, he was forced to re-learn to walk, and already at 22 in competitions in Rio set a world record of running on a hundred-meter mark - 12.22 seconds!.

Medical language is the disease of Igor called spastica - this is the consequences of paralysis. His muscles are stretched like a string, at the slightest stress they are unbearably baked. "You know, when the hand is boiling hot with scalding, and it's pulling it together - that's the feeling in my legs," the athlete admits.. This was a consequence of the injury from falling during roller skating - the guy hit his head hard, and when he came out of the coma, he realized that he did not feel his legs. His brain lost control of the limbs, and the doctors said it was forever. The first six months he, together with his mother, overcoming pain and tears, tried to get up and take steps, holding onto the wall. Subsequently, Igor returned to school and voluntarily went to the gym. Teachers were surprised, but they did not dare to forbid, like mother. "He wanted. He said: Mom, I'm like everyone else, "- recalls the mother.

On one of the lessons of physical education, he was noticed today by coach Viktor Derkach - so for Tsvetova started athletics. To achieve champion speed, special athletes do not have enough to train muscles - they need to work hard psychologically. The coach forced Igor to remember that he is a healthy person. "I do not see them disabled in them.". I see problems. The girl is gone - she has problems. I have a problem's. Have you got any problems. And we solve them, "- explained the mentor. To solve Igor's problems, it was necessary to allocate 5 hours a day to classes. He attended 12 training sessions a week, and this lasted for years. It was so tiring that the athlete barely had the strength to get home. For the sample, the coach always gave only healthy athletes, in particular the Olympic champion Usain Bolt.

The victory of Cvetova in Rio coach is well deserved. "There is no chance on the pedestal," he said.. But on this no one plans to put a point. "I want even more. Prove yourself, others, that if you want, you can achieve everything, "- says Igor. Now he dreams of new records in two years at the Summer Paralympic Games in Tokyo. This is a great chance to challenge and surpass oneself, because in a year and a half his world record has not been beaten yet.
